Today has been a full and lovely day. Don set up a huge breakfast buffet and Debbie arrived to give us some perspective on the history and current state of Romania.

Despite a little sprinkle we walked through the main center of Sibiu. It is a beautiful city full of amazing architectural designs. Our phones were wet but we couldn't help ourselves, I will post a picture after his post.

After lunch we were put to work assembling Easter gifts for all the children in the placement centers we will visit this week. At about 3:30 pm we took a dessert break and had an opportunity to hear stories of several girls who lived at the home. Stories of resilience, heartbreak, and courage - they are incredible young women!

A worship service at Betania Baptist Church. One student commented about how encouraging it was to hear the word of God spoken in another language. It showed her how truly universal God is as His truths were prayed and spoken in Romanian. The perfect end to the day was more pizza than we thought possible at Pizza Dolce.
